"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." -Benjamin Franklin
Our Toddler Program
Our Toddler program utilizes Creative Curriculum along with Teaching Strategies GOLD to develop enriched, cutting-edge, research-based lesson plans for our Toddler program. We are much more than a daycare! A individual developmental portfolio assessment system is put into place for each child that joins our program. Our Toddler classrooms are designed to create an atmosphere where your child can learn, engage in teacher directed play, and feel comfortable. As a result, children will be on their way to becoming independent and confident learners. During circle time, children are exposed to language art activities that utilize books, puppets, music, visual aids, and other teaching aids to facilitate an interactive time for the children and teacher. Math activities facilitate learning shapes, patterns, spatial sense, number recognition and eventually number concepts. Science activities focus on concepts such as the physical properties of materials and objects; living things; and the world of nature. Each Toddler classroom offers children a chance to engage through dramatic play, music and movement, manipulatives, transportation, blocks, science, library, and art. Everyday our Toddlers get a chance to engage in other activities outside of the classrooms, they enjoy time in the Globe for art and science, go outside to explore, and practice Gross Motor skills during Kid Builders in the Gym.
Parents in our Toddler classrooms will receive a daily e-mail highlighting your child's activities and photos of your child’s experiences.
